Introduction

 

Nipissing University has hired ParriagGroup to carry out an equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) audit. This audit will also include examining decolonization, actions toward reconciliation and Indigenization. This audit will identify institutional gaps in EDIA practices and develop action-oriented recommendations to address them.

 

These engagements – focus groups and interviews – are part of a suite of audit activities and will help establish a baseline to measure progress. The overall aim of the audit is to create a roadmap towards a culture and climate rooted in the values of EDIA that will enable Nipissing University to improve its collective performance as an institution.
